Description
Malicious users could send InfoPath email forms with embedded web beacons that can be used to track when recipients open the form and provide confirmation that recipients' email addresses are valid. The policy value for User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Microsoft InfoPath 2013 -> Miscellaneous "Email Forms Beaconing UI" must be set to "Enabled (Always show UI)". Procedure: Use the Windows Registry Editor to navigate to the following key: HKCU\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Office\15.0\InfoPath\security Criteria: If the value EmailFormsBeaconingUI is REG_DWORD = 1, this is not a finding.
